Art Play is a curricular initiative that asks four key questions about arts K-12 education:

How do we use games in the arts classroom?
How can we make games in the arts classroom?
What does the art of making games teach us about iterative design and creativity?
And what can games bring to creativity in arts education?

Art Play endeavors to bring the design, creation and play of games into the arts classroom. Ultimately, Art Play strives to make games and game design a legitimate creative form embraced in arts education, and in the process, bringing new perspectives to the play and creation of games in society.
